Quick, Natural make-up using Avon Products

This year I decided to become an Avon Representative because I absolutely love Avon's products. I decided to film my everyday make-up look because it's quick and easy, plus it lasts all day!

Let me know if you use any of these products!

Here's a little video of some sights we saw while walking around central Rome: The Colosseum, Roman Forum, St Peter's and The Vatican Museums!

I've also written a blog post here on some Do's and Don'ts of Rome: http://chanellelouise.blogspot.co.uk/2017/08/when-in-rome.html

My weekend on a time-lapse!

This is just a bit of a fun video. I've got a little bit obsessed with time-lapse recently so decided to video my whole weekend on a time-lapse! It really makes me laugh as I wish I could move this quickly in real life - I'd never be late!

On Friday night I decided to make some cakes. I am probably the worlds worst baker because I have no patience whatsoever, so me and my sister decided to get pre-made cake box kits and make some cakes for a carboot stall that we were hosting on Sunday. Our plan was to lure people to our stall with cakes - and it worked!

On Saturday I went to Body Attack and had my hair done, then on Sunday I went to my Body Pump class.  I tried to time-lapse the carboot but it got quite manic so I wasn't able to film much.

Here's a quick fun snapshot anyway!

When in Rome

I recently got back from Rome and OMG I am in love. It really was one of the best places I have ever been. I've never really done a city break before, but I am 100% sold and I think I'll be doing a lot more of them from now on! I've never even been to Italy, but after seeing Rome I'd now like to visit every part of Italy that I possibly could! I have a lot of places on my wishlist, but now Sardinia, Sicily and Florence have topped them. If you're thinking of going to Rome or Italy I would highly recommend it as you won't regret it!

I'm going to do 2 blog posts about Rome. My first one s going to be a bit of a do's and dont's post. It takes quite a bit of planning to visit somewhere like Rome, so hopefully you'll find my post helpful if you are thinking about going there. My second post will be about the highlights and the sight seeing - sharing pictures, YouTube videos and showing you all how fab it is!

Unfortunately Easyjet decided that I didn't need my luggage for this trip, and kept it at Luton! I flew out to Rome on the Thursday evening, and my luggage finally arrived on Monday morning... typical! My advice for anyone who has delayed luggage; it really isn't that bad. I always thought that if I didn't have my luggage with me then it would be the worst thing ever, but it actually was totally fine! Ok so it helped that it was only a 4 day break, but we just went out and found a local shopping mall and bought everything that we needed. The most annoying part was that my camera charger was in my luggage, so all my photos had to be taken on my phone which isn't as good quality. Now I'm trying to get compensation out of Easyjet! In future I'll just be taking hand luggage for a city break!!

Stylist Live

So, slightly delayed, but last year I attended an event in London called Stylist Live. The reason it's just a tad late is because I finally found the footage for it last weekend! I had such a good time, that even 7 months later I still wanted to share it.

Race for Life 2017

Cancer is something that's close to my heart, as I am sure it is for many of us. So I'll get involved in anything I can that would help kick cancer's butt! I always love taking part in events, and even more so when it's for a great cause.

Last weekend I had a pretty active one as I decided to do 2 Race for Life events. On Saturday I completed a 5k obstacle course called Pretty Muddy and it was absolutely brilliant. I got all my friends, family and work pals involved and we had such a good laugh getting covered in wet mud on the obstacles. I already can't wait to do it again next year!

Then on the Sunday I decided to run 10k! This was a massive goal for me as I've recently caught the running bug and I was so determined to do my first 10k. For the 2 weeks leading up to the run (and actually on the day of the run) I had been pretty ill so I really was questioning myself. In the end I managed to complete the run in 1 hour 4 minutes which I was happy about. My next challenge is a half marathon!

Watch the video below for some Race for Life highlights - you'll see how much fun Pretty Muddy was!

This Morning Live

Over the weekend I attended an event at Birmingham NEC called This Morning Live. It was a great day out surrounded by clothes, beauty products, home decor, lots of food and I even spotted a few celebs!

The event had 5 stages that had different talks throughout the day at different times. These included The Speakmans, fitness with Faisal, cooking shows, a catwalk show and much more.

From coffee to cocktails

So it's spring, the sun is shining, the flowers are blooming and it's getting warmer each day (well, except for the weird odd day when the weather can't decide what to do - it is England after all). Let's face it - we all want to be sat outside in the sunshine drinking cocktails in the sun. We want as little time as possible sat indoors getting changed and figuring out what to wear.

So whether you're going straight from work, or going from coffee to cocktails with the girls, instead of going though all the effort of going home and getting changed just accessorize instead! Trust me, the key to changing a look in 3 seconds is accessories!

The earrings in the posts below are absolutely to die for and are from AUrate. I'm a massive fan of earrings (probably the reason why I have my ears pierced 9 times!) and I strongly believe that the right pair of earrings can totally transform an outfit. Find out how you can convert your look in just a few simple tweaks, and you'll be coffee-to-cocktails ready in no time!

Australia

Since I was little I've always loved to see different countries. I used to love finding out about new places and I'm always amazed by other cultures. For one reason or another I've never actually gone travelling and even though I've been saying since I was 18 that I wanted to go, it just never seemed to be the right time or I ended up being put off going. So last year I decided that although I'm not going to go travel the whole world in one go, I am definitely going to visit a lot of places in the next couple of years and get some countries ticked off my list!

Someone recently told me that a friend of theirs is aiming to visit 30 countries by the time they hit 30, which I think it a bloody brilliant idea. So even though I'm only 2 years away from hitting the big 3-0 (eeeek) I'm going to give it my best shot to get as high to 30 countries as I can! I think I worked out the other day that I'm on about 16 at the minute... so not too many to go...

The room I've always wanted

I think pretty much every single girl can say that having a dressing room would make them feel like a princess, and this year I thought to myself why not pretend to be a princess! Ok so I don't have a crown, or a castle, nor am I actually related to any kind of royalty. However I can now say that I have a dressing room!

New year new gear

New year new gear is one of my fave sentences to use when I need a good excuse to spend money. During the last year or so, I've changed from spending loads on dresses and shoes, to buying an obsessive amount of fitness gear, if only I could get away with wearing it to work everyday! I just love how comfortable it is, plus they look great too! So many retailers have jumped on the fitness bandwagon and the designs look snazzier and sexier than ever.

One of my new years resolutions is to make sure I hit the gym 3/4 times a week and so far I've been hitting this. Ok, so we're only like 2 weeks into 2017, but so far I'm on track! It's great being able to hit the gym a lot, but it also means I go through a lot of fitness gear, so at least it gives me an excuse to get buying some more!

Here's some of my top picks from the high street to kick start the year. Primark and Matalan also have some fab active wear, but the websites just didn't do them justice. I'd head down to your local store to have a look, rather than browsing online.

Life lessons of 2016

Earlier this week I took a minute to stop and reflect on 2016, I hadn't really stopped to think about it up until now. I guess the whole year had been so chaotic that it just kind of whizzed past without me really reflecting on it. I think I'd describe the year as a big emotional roller coaster, so the less thinking about it the better. However, one of the good things that came out of 2016 is how much I learnt about myself and about life.

I wanted to share my main lessons with you because I really do believe that realizing all of these things has made a difference to my life and to the way I think towards situations and emotions.
